Happy First Birthday Leighton

Leighton is a whole year old, it was so exciting and one of the proudest moments we have had as parents so far. Leighton weighs 19lbs 5.5 ozs sad I know 10th % 29 inches tall and a big head still. Still no teeth ;) He is pretty small but very active and the pediatrician said he is very advanced, we are so proud!

 

Leighton was so excited about all his birthday cards he couldn't sit still to open them.

 

First cake! Leighton's birthday dinner was very fun, we celebrated with some of our favorite people to eat out with, the Rosses, Kyler his cousin was especially glad she got to be with Leighton on his birthday. Since I was a busy first bday mommy eating out was just easier and Thank goodness for the jumbo slices of cake.

 

Leighton enjoyed his chocolate cake so much, he shoved the whole thing in his mouth! He even tried to eat the crumbs off the floor. He loved it and it all went smooth that night not even an upset tummy ( thank goodness). Another choco-holic was born!

 

I also must add that he received a complement on how clean of an eater he was for only being 1 ;)
