Opening gifts

What a fun year for gifts...We did go overboard with Leighton and my dad did also. It was the best gift giving christmas and will go down in record books. We all were very lucky to have gotten some major things off our wishlist and Leighotn had the most fun opening the all paper. He really got into it. Even though we started right after a late breakfast it still took all morning/into early afternoon, Leighton wanted everything opened completely out of the package so after the paper was torn away then we needed, a knife,scissors, and pliers to free some of his gifts it took forever. Next year I think Santa should skip the fancy packing in order to save opening time! Well see maybe mom and dad just shouldn't over do it with gifts and it wouldn't take 4 hours to open. We do open one person at a time one by one and do wrap everything by itself so this does add to the time. I love to play santa and watch everyone open what I have bought for them, I m often last in opening b/c I love to watch everyone else go first.
