4TH OF JULY 2008 SAN ANTONIO, TX

With less than a month left to call Texas home, we decided to take a family trip to the San Antonio area for a long weekend. It was amazing, the weather was mostly good. It was a nice time with my Dad, my sister, Richard and Bella. We ate dinner at the Rainforest cafe on the Riverwalk on the fouth.

All the animals in the restrurant come to life, and it gets dark and then light and thunderstorms, the food was ok but really the atmosphere was great!! Leighton was really into all the animals!!

 

 

ON the 5th we went an played on the comal river for the day, it was really hot and water was really cold, We bought Leighton a real wetsuit so he would be warm enough to get into the water. After Hawaii's cooler water, Leighton needed something or else there was no way he was getting in. He was so worn out by the drive back to the hotel he slept like a rock.

 

Dinner at one of the best and largest restrurants around a Texas staple in a small historic town, THe Gristmill, located in Gruene, tx. This place is huge and built in an old cotton mill on the side of a cliff over looking a river, its ribs and chicken fried steaks are to die for. Its a perfect way to wind down a fun summer day, with dinner outside. We love it there!
