Trying to get it all in

I keep going on and on about this wedding we went to so here is a family picture of us there at the wedding it was such a fun time, and we were so proud to show Leighton off to alot of our friends that haven't seen him before or recently. He was such a great baby all night and it was so great of Than to give mommy the night off , part of my mother's day gift I guess. He tended to the baby all night and even though I was right there with them the entire night, only going a few feet away at the most I missed holding my lil boy dearly. My back on the other hand really enjoyed the break considering he likes to be held nonstop all day. I am lucky to get to put him down for a minute to use the potty! That was also great for Than to have so much one on one time with him, since he is gone so much.

Yay! Than's the big 27 it was such a busy week of celebrating the wedding, then mother's day, then our anniversary, then his birthday. We were partied out so we opted for dinner at Than's favorite place On the Border, but by the time we came home we were so tired we barely cut the cake! The card he has was from Leighton He was so happy to get it and his new nintendo Boys will be Boys!

In other breaking news Leighton is on the road to teething. He has been completely soaking the fronts of his shirts and chewing on anything that comes in close range to his mouth. I realize it is quite a bit early for teeth and understand that the drooling goes on for months. It has been going on since he was 2mths and it is progessivly getting worse, along with his irritability. We even think we can see a little something starting to appear in his gums. We will definetely keep you posted on this.


Ok well this and the next several posts will be a sorta random grouping of things I really just want to try to get it all in and everyone caught up to date on things. Hats off again to Annie for being such a great blogger I have no idea why but I can't seem to get it done very quickly. It is because of this that I have decided to skip spell check and editing just to get it done so bare with me and all the bad blogging.
