Christmas Outtakes

I think we managed to put out a really good Christmas photo. But just to make sure everyone knows the number of takes it took to get it right, here are some of the shots that didn't make the cut:

This one's not really an outtake, but too cute not to include.

Curious George ...er Leighton

Leighton is at the stage where he loves to crawl around the house and explore. He gets into everything and really surprises us with the things he is able to reach or find on the floor.

Here he climbed over the stack of Naval Academy yearbooks trying to get to his favorite toys (dog toys). What a stinker!!

Rough Life as a Baby Hathaway

Here is our little guy "asleep at the wheel" so-to-speak. Sometimes a full belly is all it takes!

I don't remember if we've mentioned how ticklish this little guy is. It is SO much fun to tickle him and get some of those melt-you-in-your-tracks giggles out of him.

We have quite a few Christmas decorations and when Dad is at work, Mom needs all the help she can get. Leighton loves to help - or dive into rubbermaids! We really noticed how tall he's getting when he could put his mouth on the seat of our dining chairs.

Our techno savvy boy has his own Winnie the Pooh Laptop - right now he just likes to close it (sometimes on his fingers! Ouch)

Leighton still LOVES bath time!

Cold Weather!

With cold weather brings a chance to wear some of our favorite cold weather fav's - such as our little Rudolph here:

Here is our handsome boy in one of his winter hats and his bear jacket.

Watch out ladies!

Cousins!

Leighton and Bella may not really know who eachother are, but they are pretty dang cute together.

"Good Bella"

Leighton gives open mouth kisses.

And I'm spent!

Thanksgiving!

Cyndi's Dad, Debbie, Stacey, Richard and baby Bella all came over for Thanksgiving at our house. This was a special(tough) year for Thanksgiving since Grandma Clement used to always host Thanksgiving at her house. We did our best to make everything as good as she used to and I think we were very close!

We fit everyone at our kitchen table - tight squeeze, but looks nice!

The Dynamic Duo!

Cyndi and the delicious turkey - very proud especially since we have baked a turkey maybe once/twice before ever!

Buttermilk pies! A Grandma Clement specialty. It called for 3 ____ of flour - we just didn't know what measurement. Than thought "cups" was a good amount - well they turned out more like buttermilk bread than buttermilk pies. Oops - at least they looked nice!

Some of the spread - YUM!

Best Buds

Once again, our best little buddies - Leighton and Buttercup are peering out the back door to see what Boudreaux is up to!

We should also mention that some of Leighton's favorite toys are the dogs' toys. As much as it makes me want to puke, he loves them and it keeps him occupied.

Halloween!

This is a view of our front door all decked out. SCARY!!

Our Halloween PJ's!

We love Halloween! Despite the sudden onset of illness for all of us, we pulled a couple near-allnighters to get the house together for the party.

Cyndi and Heather posing with our "token dead guy."

Our Halloween Village is coming along great! It has all the usual suspects (mummies, witches, vampires) and we got really good deals on all of the pieces.

Our little stinker passed out in his carseat tuckered out from trick or treating, sleeping with his Halloween bag on his arm!

Stacey and Bella(a ladybug) with Cyndi and Leighton - out front handing out candy to all the trick or treaters.

Crawler!

Leighton started crawling at just about 7 months. He put a quick end to that phase where he was content to sit up on his own.

He started off innocently enough...

Shortly after getting the hang of crawling, he started to climb over the lower shelf of our end table and coffee table.

Little Devil

We love our Little Devil (aka Leighton). He looked super cute in his oh-so-appropriate outfit! Check out his little devil tail!

Leighton's Friends

Leighton is definitely a happy little boy and he just loves our dogs. When we go in to his room to wake him up (with the inevitable dog or two in trail) he looks right at the dogs and smiles. He likes to watch them run around the house and he even plays tug with Buttercup! He loves Boudreaux too, but Boo tends to steer clear of Leighton's vice-like grip.

Leighton and Buttercup are best buds!
